I started sewing because I didn't like fast fashion and the problems it creates. I also had a hard time finding clothes that were my style, fit my body, and were clothes I really wanted to wear. I found myself feeling self-conscious because I didn’t feel confident in the clothes I wore.

One thing I love about sewing is that you make something you really want that will fit your unique body. The more I sewed, the less I reached for the ready-to-wear clothes in my wardrobe, and I hope I can inspire you to do the same.

I love the sewing community; it always feels like a collaboration between the pattern maker and the sewists. I love seeing everyone’s interpretation of different patterns, and I love that one design can take a completely different look because people are unique.

That being said, I hope to inspire you to make or start making clothes that you will love. With my patterns, I want to create stylish yet clean clothes that will work in your everyday life, that you will want to wear forever, and that will make you feel beautiful. Whether that is the pattern as is or if you hack it into something that is more you.
